Nationally recognized artist Pam Ballard designed this garden stone.
After graduating with a BFA from Ohio University where she majored in painting and sculpture, Pam has worked as a gardener, landscape and floral designer, sculptor, manufacturer, and farmer. Does this mean that the art degree didn't pay off? Looking at these beautifully sculpted garden stones, we'd have to say that the degree most certainly DID pay off!
This stone weighs a hefty 52 pounds, and measures 13 1/2 inches wide by 5 inches thick by 23 inches high. It reads, "Sun shines, birds sing, from my garden angels spring." It also features an angel carved into the side of the stone.
These garden stones are hand cast in the USA. They are weatherproof, and made to last a lifetime. Each of these designs comes from an actual stone original, which is then carefully reproduced using materials and methods first used in ancient Rome. And you can see how long the Colosseum and the Leaning Tower of Pisa have been around!
