Is a guardian angel looking out for your garden? Even if you spend hours sewing seeds, weeding, and pruning, there are all sorts of things that can go wrong in the yard. If you’re Blessed, maybe this is the year that bugs will stay away, weeds will not sprout, and the weather will be just right for beautiful flowers and full leaves.
This custom rock marker is designed to mark the edge of a memorial garden. It is an irregularly shaped trapezoid, and carries the inscription “May you find comfort in the arms of an angel”.
The inscription is complemented by the torso of an angel that looks like it is rising out of the rock. This engraved stone is substantial – it weighs 15.25 pounds and measures 18 inches wide by 13 inches tall. It can be used as a stepping stone or as a hanging marker.
This stone includes a mount for hanging on the back. The hanger can be hooked over a nail over railings, fence posts, walls, or other areas to maximize visibility. Or the hanger can be pressed into the ground to anchor the stone in place. The shape of your stone may vary slightly from the image shown above.
Each of these garden stones is made by hand in the USA. They are weatherproof and designed to last a lifetime. Although the plants in your garden may fade away in the winter, the accent stones will remain year after year.
Angels are renowned messengers from God in many different religions. Some faiths believe that angels are the spirits of pious men and women – other faiths believe angels are holy beings or even tools used by different gods to act in our world. Famous angels include Metatron, Michael, Gabriel, Jibril, Mikail, Fravashi, Maroot, Israfil, Haroot, and the Angel of Death - Azrael.
Did you know that Angel wings are a recent development? Prior to about 400 AD, paintings and carvings of angels looked just like everyday people. After that time, wings were added to show the holiness of the cherubim, seraphim, and archangels.
